Dallas Dhu, based in the Speyside town of Forres on the Moray coast, was founded in 1898 and was used mainly to make the Roderick Dhu blended Scotch, with single malt bottlings rarely seen. Dallas Dhu closed in 1983 and is now run as a distillery museum by Historic Environment Scotland. This Gordon and Macphail bottling of Dallas Dhu was bottled in 2010, from distillates from its last full year of operation in 1982.
