William Grant & Sons Ltd was established in 1887 and remains an independent, established blender and distiller in Scotland today. This bottling, a special blend of the finest whiskies all over Scotland and matured in William Grant and Sons own warehouses for at least 25 years, was specially released to commemorate the company being awarded "Distiller of the Year" at the International Wine and Spirit Competition twice in a row in 1999 and 2000, as well as three Queen's Awards in 1974,1989 and 1996.
