The Springbank Distillery is one of the last remaining in Campbeltown, from its heyday of over 30 active distilleries producing quality whiskies in the 19th century. Located on the Kintyre Peninsula and drawing water from Crosshill Loch, Springbank is now owned by J & A Mitchell & Co. Springbank produces three core ranges, Springbank proper, which are usually medium peated; Longrow, a highly peated style, and Hazelburn, a triple-distilled, non-peated whisky.
This private cask bottling of Springbank was distilled in 1994 in a refill sherry cask and bottled in 2020, with a declared aged of 25 years. Bottled with an ABV of 50.4%, this is a not-to-be-missed collectible for Springbank fans!.
