The Springbank Distillery is one of the last remaining in Campbeltown, from its heyday of over 30 active distilleries producing quality whiskies in the 19th century. Located on the Kintyre Peninsula and drawing water from Crosshill Loch, Springbank is now owned by J & A Mitchell & Co. Springbank produces three core ranges, Springbank proper, which are usually medium peated; Longrow, a highly peated style, and Hazelburn, a triple-distilled, non-peated whisky.
From La Mission du Whisky's "Straight from the Cask" range, this Springbank was distilled in 1989 and aged in a single Hogshead for 12 years before bottling at 55%. Only 410 bottles.
