The Laphroaig distillery was established on Islay in 1815, and today remains the only distillery to hold the Royal Warrant of HRH The Prince of Wales. Laphroaig is famous for being one of the most richly flavoured of all Scotch malts with strong notes of peat, smoke and seaweed. This special bottling of the 10 Year Old was released in 1994 to celebrate the Royal Warrant, appointed by HRH The Prince of Wales to Laphroaig Distillery on the 1st January 1994.
