The GlenAllachie is a relatively young distillery situated in Aberlour, Speyside. It was first established in 1967 and went through several owners and a period of mothballing (1985-1989) before the current owners, GlenAllachie Distillers Co Ltd, partly owned by the legendary Billy Walker, took over and expanded its offerings significantly. The distillery derives its water from Ben Rinnes and uses slightly peated malts for distillation in its two wash and two spirit stills.
Distilled in 2006 and bottled 2021 from PX Puncheon #4768 as a Sherrybomb Whisky Appreciation Society Exclusive. One of 684 bottles.
