The Springbank Distillery is one of the last remaining in Campbeltown, from its heyday of over 30 active distilleries producing quality whiskies in the 19th century. Located on the Kintyre Peninsula and drawing water from Crosshill Loch, Springbank is now owned by J & A Mitchell & Co. Springbank produces three core ranges, Springbank proper, which are usually medium peated; Longrow, a highly peated style, and Hazelburn, a triple-distilled, non-peated whisky.
This is a 21 year old private bottling of Springbank matured in a single cask and bottled as the "Chairwoman's Special Reserve" in November 2021.
