The Laphroaig distillery was established on Islay in 1815, and today remains the only distillery to hold the Royal Warrant of HRH The Prince of Wales. Laphroaig is famous for being one of the most richly flavoured of all Scotch malts with strong notes of peat, smoke and seaweed. This vintage Laphroaig was distilled in 1989 and bottled 23 years later exclusively for the Sweden, Norway and Finland markets. Only 3200 bottles produced.
